Seattle Seahawks coach Mike Macdonald has settled how Quenton Nelson will fit into the offensive line after the team’s blockbuster trade with the Indianapolis Colts.

Nelson arrived in Seattle as one of the NFL’s most accomplished offensive linemen. The 30-year-old has earned eight Pro Bowl selections and six All-Pro honors while starting all 136 games of his career.

His arrival immediately created questions about how Seattle would configure an offensive line that already featured Grey Zabel and Anthony Bradford at guard.

Macdonald addressed those questions Thursday while discussing how the Seahawks plan to work Nelson into their starting unit.

ESPN’s Brady Henderson provided additional context on X, formerly Twitter, after Macdonald addressed the offensive line changes Thursday afternoon.
