The pro-wrestling world recently mourned when the news of AEW wrestler PAC's passing became public. The former AEW Trios Champion PAC passed away on Sunday, Sept. 27, 2026, at the age of 40.
Just hours after wrestling Andrade El Idolo at AEW All Out 2026, PAC was reportedly found dead in his car. Hailing from North-Eastern UK and a Newcastle local, PAC enjoyed a successful pro-wrestling career across AEW, WWE, and other indie promotions.
Now, days after the unfortunate news, police reports regarding PAC’s death have revealed some startling new information. However, it does not provide any answers regarding his death and has left many unanswered questions.
According to the incident report, obtained by TMZ, an officer found PAC's phone in the center console with his GPS navigation still on, routing him to O'Hare Airport for his apparent flight back to the UK. The report claimed that the officers searched his vehicle and found two suitcases and a backpack. With the suitcases locked, the police searched his backpack and later took the luggage and the bag into police property. The police also added that PAC apparently had no injuries or suspicious markings, except for possible saliva on the front of his shirt.
An autopsy took place, but the Cook County Medical Examiner stated that PAC's cause and manner of death were awaiting further tests. As of this writing, the reason behind PAC's death remains a mystery.
Following his death, several AEW, WWE, and indie wrestlers paid their tribute. The tributes were also followed by the people of Newcastle, the Newcastle United soccer team, and The Rock.
