After the Phillies suffered a 12-1 loss to the Tampa Bay Rays on Saturday, the team would come back on Sunday and beat them, 7-3, to end the season, clinching a playoff spot and finding out their next opponent.
According to MLB insider Jeff Passan at ESPN, Philadelphia's win over Tampa Bay helped them lock up the last wild card National League spot, as the team will face their NL East rival, the Atlanta Braves.
