New England’s offense has come alive over the last two weeks and now the team may be getting its top receiver back soon.
Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel told reporters in his press conference that A.J. Brown’s 21-day practice window is opening on Wednesday.
Brown suffered an ankle sprain during the Week 1 loss to the Seahawks. He was placed on injured reserve, missing the last four games.
Brown caught three passes for 26 yards before he had to exit the season opener.
Notably, cornerback Christian Gonzalez will also practice on Wednesday after missing the last two games with a shoulder injury. He did not practice at all last week.
Cornerback Carlton Davis (neck) is not slated to return to practice on Wednesday.
Offensive tackle Marcus Bryant will also have his 21-day practice window opened as he returns from IR.
Finally, Vrabel noted that the team will likely wait until the weekend to determine whether or not running back TreVeyon Henderson and offensive tackle Will Campbell will be placed on IR, causing them to miss the next four games.
