The New England Patriots were able to get a bounce-back win against the Pittsburgh Steelers, defeating them 20-3. After a rough offensive outing against the Seattle Seahawks in Week 1, the Patriots found some success the following week, but it still wasn't up to the standard they've set for themselves.

Drake Maye did just enough to help the Patriots stay on top, but it was really the defense that stood tall throughout the entire game. It was the offensive line that struggled a bit during the matchup, and head coach Mike Vrabel specifically called out center Jared Young for his play.

“That wasn't one of Jared's better games… I think he can protect better. I know he can protect better. I've seen him protect better,” Vrabel said via Mark Daniels of Mass Live.

The Steelers' defensive line is no pushover, so it makes sense why Young may not have played his best game. At the same time, he has to do the best he can to protect Maye, as the quarterback was sacked three times. He also finished the game with no touchdowns and one interception. Luckily for the offense, they were able to get a big run from TreVeyon Henderson that turned into a touchdown.

Romeo Doubs also had a big game, finishing with three receptions for 96 yards.

The hope is that the Patriots' offense continues to make strides as the season continues, and they'll have to do so without A.J. Brown for the next few weeks. It's all going to start in the trenches, and the offensive line has to perform better.

Their next matchup is against the Jacksonville Jaguars, who have played well through the first two weeks of the season.
