The Patriots saw three of their starting offensive linemen go down with injuries during last Sunday’s win over the Jets and it looks like they’ll be without at least two of them when they face the Bears on Thursday.
Head coach Mike Vrabel said at a Tuesday press conference that right guard Ben Brown and left guard Alijah Vera-Tucker are probably going to miss the game. Brown injured his knee and Vera-Tucker hurt his hamstring.
Right tackle Morgan Moses has a foot injury and the Patriots estimated he would have been limited in Monday’s practice. Vrabel said Moses has a chance to play this week.
Backups Caleb Lomu, Matt Pryor, and Walter Rouse were all pressed into action against the Jets and the Patriots will likely fortify that group because they were one injury away from playing someone out of position in Week 6.
