The Carolina Panthers fell to a 1-2 record on the season after suffering a 21-18 Week 3 loss to the Cleveland Browns. Quarterback Bryce Young came back down to earth a bit and suffered an injury scare during the contest, but didn't miss a single snap. On Monday, head coach Dave Canales provided an update about the soreness Young is feeling after the game.

It's said that the 25-year-old signal-caller plans to get imaging on his leg, according to Mike Kaye of ESPN. The imaging will provide an official diagnosis for Young after Canales claims he was stepped on by a cleat.

‘He was sore a bit. I think he took a cleat…' Canales said about Bryce Young, and the QB will get imaging and [a] diagnosis on lower-body injury this week,” Kaye reported.

Young went to the blue medical tent for a brief moment on Sunday. As mentioned above, he did not miss a single snap and returned to the game quickly. The fourth-year veteran finished the contest against the Browns with 291 passing yards, one touchdown, and one interception while completing 54.1% of his pass attempts. He spread the ball around a bit, as he targeted 10 different players, with nine of them hauling in at least one reception.

Although the Panthers have a losing record, Bryce Young leads the league in passing yards with 939. However, his completion percentage is still rather questionable, as it sits at 59.5% through three games. Despite that, he's on pace for a career year, averaging a league-high 313 passing yards per game.

Carolina will have more information regarding Young's lower-body soreness in due time. Expectations are for the former first-round pick to be ready to go for the Panthers' Week 4 matchup against the Detroit Lions.
