Paige Bueckers is excited to be back in WNBA action following the Dallas Wings' clash with the Los Angeles Sparks on Thursday night.

Bueckers is coming off an incredible trip with Team USA throughout the 2026 FIBA Women's World Cup in Germany. They won gold in the tournament after beating France in the final, having Bueckers earn the title of world champion. She averaged 7.3 points, 2.3 assists and 1.8 rebounds per game throughout the tourney.

Bueckers balled out in her first WNBA game back. In 26 minutes of action, she finished with 19 points, six rebounds, three assists, and two steals. She shot 8-of-13 from the field, including 1-of-5 from beyond the arc. The star guard reflected on her performance after the game, being proud to be back with her team after a successful World Cup journey.

“I just love to hoop. Love this game. Anytime you can play, whether it's in Berlin, Germany, Dallas, Texas, wherever the W is, and to be back here with my teammates, I miss them. I really enjoy being around them and coming to work every single day. The coaching staff, the organization. So anytime we get to suit up and play and put on this jersey and play the game of basketball. It's an amazing day, and very blessed to do it,” Bueckers said.

How Paige Bueckers, Wings played against Sparks

Paige Bueckers is helping the Wings prepare for playoff action. They also continue a great win streak after beating the Sparks 97-77.

Six players scored in double-digits for Dallas in the win, including Bueckers. Jessica Shepard had a triple-double performance with 13 points, 12 assists and 11 rebounds. Maddy Siegrist came next with 12 points, Arike Ogunbowale had 11 points and four assists, while Kitija Laksa and Aziaha James scored 10 points each.

Dallas improved to a 25-16 record on the season, sitting at fourth place in the Western Conference standings. They are above the Portland Fire and the Sparks at the moment.

Rolling with five consecutive wins, the Wings will look forward to their next matchup, remaining at home. They host the Phoenix Mercury as tip-off takes place on Sept. 19 at 1 p.m. ET.
