The Green Bay Packers have been struggling since the loss of Micah Parsons to injury. Now, Green Bay has yet another injury to deal with. Offensive lineman Zach Bako-Bewele is out for the season, per The 33rd Team.
“(Right Tackle) Zach Bako-Bewele (formerly Zach Tom) suffered a torn patellar tendon on Sunday and will miss the rest of the 2026 NFL season, he told reporters. A gut-punch loss for Green Bay’s offensive line,” reporter Ari Meirov posted to X, formerly Twitter.
Green Bay is 1-1 on the season. Bako-Bewele suffered that injury in the team's last game, which was a win over the New York Jets.
“The tear is to the same patellar tendon that Bako-Bewele partially tore in December of last year. He had surgery to repair the injury but is now facing another surgery and long rehab period after fully tearing the tendon in his right knee,” USA Today reported.
