Stenavich’s comments reflected both that uncertainty and optimism about the sixth-year NFL veteran’s recent progress. The coordinator wanted the guard healthy enough to play consistently, rather than continue moving between apparent readiness and unavailability.
As of Wednesday, the team’s Week 7 injury-report page displayed no player designations. Banks’ availability against the Lions remained unresolved, without a confirmed return date.
