Marshawn Lloyd had some big shoes to fill coming into the 2026 season. With starting running back Josh Jacobs out indefinitely due to being on the commissioner's exempt list, the Green Bay Packers turned to him as their starter for the year. Lloyd has been rather inefficient to start the season, but he's given Green Bay fans some highlights that had them excited.

One of these highlights came against the Packers' favorite rival, the Chicago Bears. During their most recent game, Lloyd trucked Bears defensive back Jaylon Johnson on his way to the end zone. The clip has now gone viral, thanks in large part to the long-standing rivalry between the two teams.

Lloyd talked about the play, saying that he's already seen it multiple times after his family and friends sent it to him after the game.

“I've seen it a million times now,” Lloyd said, per Wisconsin Sports Network. “Everywhere I go, everyone's showing me, my family, everyone's texting me and showing me the video. And then it's been pretty cool, but now it's kind of like on to the next. We have a big week this week, and you can do it once, but the good ones do it multiple times.”

Lloyd's inefficiency has been a big issue with the Packers' offense this season. Through five games, the Packers' running back is averaging just a measly 2.8 yards per carry. It's been a big issue for the team through the start of the season, but it seems like the tide is starting to shift. Lloyd found the end zone twice in Week 5 against the Bears, which should bode well for their chances.

After taking on one rival, the Packers will now take on yet another rival of theirs, this time one out of their division. The Dallas Cowboys are coming to town this Sunday in a primetime matchup on Sunday Night Football. Given Dallas' struggles against the run, it's the perfect time for Lloyd to get right.
