Jesse Legree was an absolute nightmare for San Diego State defenders as the standout receiver torched them with three touchdowns in Oregon State's blowout win over the Aztecs on Saturday night.
Legree is going through the freshman campaign of his collegiate career with the Beavers. He has emerged as a star receiver, being a top option in the offense to give Oregon State a good shot at bowl game contention.
Legree continued his incredible performances, putting up another astounding display against the Aztecs. He racked up 10 catches for 191 yards and a hat trick of three touchdowns. His scores took place in the first half and the third quarter, finding holes in the San Diego State secondary to assert his impact in the game.
Legree has been remarkable to start his collegiate career. NFL insider Jordan Schultzeven took note of the receiver's form throughout the first half of the campaign.
“Oregon State true freshman WR Jesse LeGree has 932 receiving yards on 38 receptions this season and 12 TDs in six games. He just hit the Heisman pose too,” Schultz wrote.
