Ole Miss football welcomes legendary Mississippi native Morgan Freeman to the campus for the LSU game. But the school already isn't planning to be welcoming toward Tiger fans. Especially amid Lane Kiffin's highly scrutinized return.

The school put its foot down Thursday on fans attempting to wear LSU gear in the Rebels' student section. Which adds to the further tensions surrounding this SEC heavyweight showdown set for Saturday.

“No person wearing an opposing team's gear or colors will be allowed entrance into the student section,” the school statement reads. “Additionally, anyone found to be wearing opposing team apparel or colors in the student section will be removed.”

So another words, LSU fans must enter through a different gate. This tactic emboldens how much animosity Ole Miss has toward its former head coach.

Kiffin put together a dream season for the Rebels in becoming a College Football Playoff team. However, he left Nov. 30 to accept the job for one of Ole Miss's most historic rival. That unceremonious exit turned Kiffin into one of college football's biggest villains per national media and the city of Oxford.

Security becomes tightened for this battle. Even Louisiana governor Jeff Landry jokingly proposed to ESPN that Kiffin would arrive via an F-16 to get him safely inside Vaught-Hemmingway Stadium.

“And maybe the team on a C-130,” Landry said.

But Ole Miss wide receiver Deuce Alexander envisions a “bloodbath” happening in the game to fuel the energy for Rebels-Tigers. Kiffin walks in expected to hear boos, vulgarities and fan signs mocking his exit. Ole Miss even ripped Kiffin for LSU quarterback Sam Leavitt's “doubtful” injury designation, describing the coach as “full of it.” Landen Clark rises as LSU's QB1 if Leavitt can't go.
