Connor McDavid is skating his way toward unprecedented territory in the early portion of the 2026 NHL campaign, and Leon Draisaitl is contending for the league lead in goals, but Evan Bouchard is making sure to seize his share of the spotlight on the Edmonton Oilers. The superbly skilled defenseman, who turned 27 years old on Tuesday, continues to wreak havoc on opposing squads.

Bouchard decides to be generous on his day and gifts the boisterous crowd at Rogers Place a thrilling victory.
