Recently, the New York Giants made headlines when it was announced that they would be releasing wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. after three games of the 2026 NFL season. The news came after Beckham Jr., who earned multiple Pro Bowl appearances with the Giants earlier in his career, failed to haul in a catch in limited playing time to open up the season.
Now, OBJ has taken to an Instagram comment section to put the team on blast, via Chuck Knoxx on X, formerly Twitter.

Clearly, Beckham Jr. wasn't thrilled with the team's decision to release him just weeks after surprising some fans by making him a part of their final 53-man roster ahead of the 2026 season.
Article Continues BelowOffense has been a major issue for the Giants over the last couple of weeks, ever since starting quarterback Jaxson Dart went down with an injury that forced season-ending surgery.
Since then, the Giants have watched quarterback Jameis Winston struggle to produce in his backup role and have since traded for Minnesota Vikings quarterback JJ McCarthy.
Meanwhile, it remains to be seen whether or not OBJ will get any more opportunities around the league. The former Pro Bowler will turn 34 years old next month and also has a storied injury history, both of which have contributed to his clearly diminished agility and explosiveness on the field.
In any case, the Giants will look to improve to 3-1 on Sunday afternoon at home vs the Arizona Cardinals before hitting the road to take on the Washington Commanders next week.
