Morgan Scalley and the Utah Utes football squad have a big matchup on the way against the Houston Cougars. Legendary football coach Nick Saban provided his thoughts on the upcoming game.

Scalley is going through his first full year as the Utes' head coach. Replacing Kyle Whittingham, who departed for Michigan, he looks to lead Utah to great success with the College Football Playoff being the highest objective. They are off to a perfect start with a 6-0 record to their name, hoping to stay undefeated after their clash with Houston.

Saban appeared during an episode of the Pat McAfee show on Friday. He noted the improvements Utah made from last season, but he believes the squad will be busy trying to have the upper hand over Houston.

“I think they're a little better. I mean, I don't think they've played a very tough schedule to this point in the season. But offensively, they create tremendous problems for defensive teams. They got 17 different personnel groups. They do different things out of every one of those. But how could you ever get a defensive team to understand 17 different personnel groups and what they like to do out of each one of them. It's impossible. So I think that part of their team is better. I think the quarterback's better. I don't think they've been tested defensively. So it'll be interesting because Houston has a very athletic team to see how they hold up,” Saban said.
