Pittsburgh Steelers at Cleveland Browns – NFL Week 4 Results According to Madden 27

The Steelers stay on top of the AFC North battle with a close win over the Browns.
After a scoreless first quarter, Cleveland was the first to score as Deshaun Watson threw a TD pass to KC Concepcion. But the Steelers responded on their following drive with a TD run from Jaylen Warren.
Pittsburgh managed to tie the game early in the third quarter, but Browns' RB Quinshon Judkins scored on a big run, giving Cleveland a 17-10 lead. However, the Steelers dominated in the fourth quarter, scoring 10 unanswered points. Aaron Rodgers threw a TD to Pat Freiermuth, and Chris Boswell scored the game-winning FG with 0:03 left in the game.

The Colts' offense was firing off on all cylinders as they beat the Commanders, 38-27.
Jonathan Taylor in particular was on fire in the win. He earned 172 rushing yards on 25 carries along with three touchdown runs. He had two big TD runs of 44 and 62 yards, respectively, the second of which put the Colts up 31-13 in the third quarter.
Daniel Jones also played extremely well, throwing three touchdown passes and completing 65% of his passes in the win. His 13-yard TD pass to Keenan Allen in the fourth quarter sealed the game, giving the Commanders a 38-20 lead with just 4:24 left to go.

The Buffalo Bills remain undefeated thanks to their defense as they beat the Patriots 23-10.
Josh Allen and the Bills' offense struggled to get much going for most of the game. They had to settle for three FGs on three red zone attempts, and were still trailing by the end of the third.
The Patriots' offense didn't play much better, but Drake Maye was able to find the end zone on a 1-yard run in the second quarter. By the start of the fourth quarter, they were up 10-9.
James Cook III finally put the Bills on top with a short rushing touchdown with about six minutes left to go. On the Patriots' next drive, Maye threw a pick-six to S Cole Bishop, who returned the interception for 41 yards. This put Buffalo up 23-10 with less then five minutes to go, essentially sealing the game for them.

The Jets manage to defeat Case Keenum and the Bears to climb back to .500.
Because Keenum boasts a better Madden rating than Tyson Bagent, we decided to start him in hopes of a more exciting sim. However, there's a possibility Bagent plays this game. Regardless, it didn't seem like Chicago's offense could replicate last week's numbers.
The Jets took a 14-3 lead at halftime, with backup RB Braelon Allen scoring two touchdowns in the first half. Geno Smith then connected with Garrett Wilson on a short TD pass in the third quarter to make it 21-10.
Keenum scored two touchdowns in the loss, finding Rome Odunze for an eight-yard score halfway through the fourth quarter. This was followed by a successful two-point conversion, making it 21-18.
However, the Jets managed to waste a lot of time on their next drive, scoring a field goal to get some insurance. By the time they were done, the Bears had just under two minutes to win the game. As you can see, they failed to do so.

The Jaguars defeat the Bengals and on the road in an exciting OT matchup.
Both offenses played spectacularly in this game, with a combined seven total touchdowns and 14 total scoring drives. Furthermore, the game was very close all throughout the contest, with no team ever gaining a two-possession lead.
Overall, the Jaguars were up 24-20 at the end of the third quarter, but their offense had to settle for two field goal drives in the fourth. A costly holding penalty at the CIN 1 prevented what could've been a game-changing drive. Meanwhile, Joe Burrow and the Bengals managed to send the game to OT with a TD reception from Ja'Marr Chase.
In Overtime, the Bengals were the first to receive the ball. RB Chase Brown was stopped just short of a first down at the JAX 28, and the team settled for three. On the Jaguars' following drive, Trevor Lawrence found Parker Washington for a huge, 35-yard TD pass. With the win, Jacksonville advances to 3-1.

The Cardinals climb back to .500 with a win over the Giants.
Jameis Winston and the Giants' offense continue to struggle, while the Cardinals' offense continues to play well this season. Jeremiyah Love had a solid game, rushing for over 85 yards on 18 carries while scoring a touchdown in the third quarter.
Overall, the Cardinals managed to take a 26-7 lead by the end of the third quarter, and the Giants could only post one garbage time TD near the end. They now drop to 2-2 after four games this year.
Los Angeles Rams at Philadelphia Eagles – NFL Week 4 Results According to Madden 27

The Rams defeat the Eagles for the first time since the 2020 season.
Overall, L.A.'s offense played consistently, with Matthew Stafford throwing two touchdowns to just one interception. Meanwhile, Philly's offensive struggles continue to limit them. They found themselves down 28-17 with just 5:43 left to go in the game.
Jalen Hurts recorded two touchdowns in the game, including a late TD pass to Devonta Smith in the fourth quarter. However, Saquon Barkley wasn't able to punch in for the two-point conversion, leaving things at 28-23. With the win, the Rams go back to .500 on the season.

Jalon Daniels' starting debut was… rough to say the least.
Overall, Green Bay completely dominated the Buccaneers, forcing four turnovers in the win. Daniels threw three interceptions, while Bucky Irving fumbled the ball. In fact, the Bucs' offense never made it past the GB 46, constantly being forced to punt or turn the ball over on downs.
The Packers' offense played much better than they did in Week 3. Jordan Love threw two touchdown passes while MarShawn Lloyd ran for another. This was our first shutout for any of our simulations this season, and may be the only one.

The Ravens jump to 3-1 with a win over Tennessee.
Derrick Henry scored two touchdowns in the win, with Tyler Loop missing the extra point on the opening drive touchdown. But he made up for it with four successful field goal attempts throughout the rest of the game.
Cam Ward and the Titans' struggles continue, with their only touchdown coming in garbage time. By the time they scored, they were down 25-16 with just 2:23 left in the game.

The Cowboys prevent the Texans from getting their first win of the season, though it came close in the end.
Dak Prescott led the Cowboys' offense to two unanswered scores in the second quarter after the team was trailing 10-0. George Pickens and CeeDee Lamb both caught TD passes, while Javonte Williams ran for another two scores.
Although Houston led 24-14 at the start of the third, C.J. Stroud and the offense struggled to hold onto the ball. They ultimately choked the 10-point lead, allowing Dallas to come back and win in the end.

Overall, the Vikings remain undefeated after beating the Dolphins, 21-10.
Minnesota took a 14-0 lead and never looked back, though it seemed like Miami was inching closer to victory. However, the absence of RB De'Von Achane was felt, as Miami only earned 64 rushing yards on 24 rushing attempts.
Meanwhile, the Vikings' offense wasn't spectacular, but they got the job done. However, they did need to rely on the defense, who forced two turnovers and earned three sacks, all of which contributed to the win. Two of Minnesota's touchdowns came after the turnovers.
Kansas City Chiefs at Las Vegas Raiders – NFL Week 4 Results According to Madden 27

The Raiders kept it close, but their dreams of going 4-0 fell apart after just barely losing to the Chiefs.
Overall, things were pretty neck and neck for most of the game. It seemed like whenever the Chiefs scored, the Raiders found a way to respond. Furthermore, they also did a good job limiting Kenneth Walker III, who earned just 72 rushing yards on 23 carries.
However, Walker did score what would be the game-winning touchdown late in the fourth quarter. This time, Kirk Cousins and the Raiders were unable to respond, allowing the Chiefs to remain undefeated and take the top spot in the division.
Denver Broncos at San Francisco 49ers – NFL Week 4 Results According to Madden 27

The Broncos managed to come back and defeat another NFC West team to go 3-1 on the season. Meanwhile, the 49ers lose their first game of the season.
Down 13-3 in the third quarter, the Broncos managed to get their act together. Bo Nix threw two touchdown passes in the fourth quarter, including a late TD pass to Courtland sutton to take a 24-20 lead. That was the first time they led all game, and they never let go of that lead.
Brock Purdy and the Niners did have a chance to rebound. However, Purdy threw an interception on the final drive of the game, allowing the Broncos to reign victorious.
Los Angeles Chargers at Seattle Seahawks – NFL Week 4 Results According to Madden 27

The Chargers drop to 0-4 while the Seahawks rebound from their first loss of the season.
Overall, Sam Darnold played much better this week, with zero turnovers and three total touchdown passes in the win. Of course, much of the credit goes to Jaxon Smith-Njigba, who caught eight passes for 128 yards and two touchdowns. Njigba had more receiving yards than Justin Herbert did passing yards in the first three quarters.
Meanwhile, the Chargers just continue to play poorly in every phase. Herbert did manage to pick up a garbage time touchdown with 3:21 left in the game. However, Cameron Dicker missed the extra point, making things just look even worse for the team.
Detroit Lions at Carolina Panthers – NFL Week 4 Results According to Madden 27

The Panthers found themselves in another shootout, and once again they lost. Overall, while they scored 21 points in the first half, they allowed the Lions to drop 28. Jahmyr Gibbs was unstoppable, earning over 200 scrimmage yards and scoring three touchdowns in the win.
But Carolina kept things close throughout the whole game. Bryce Young was electric, throwing four touchdowns to just one interception, and his last score tied the game 38-38. However, the Lions had just enough time to drive down the field and score once more.
Amon-Ra St. Brown's late seven-yard TD reception with just 1:13 left to go was the game-winning score, uplifting the Lions to 3-1 on the season.

The Saints climb to the top of the NFC South with a close win over the Falcons.
It seemed like the Falcons had found some offensive identity in their win last week. However, this week it seemed like it all went crashing back down as they only managed to post 13 points for the second time this season.
Tyler Shough and the Saints weren't perfect, but they managed to score in each quarter. Atlanta managed to tie the game with 3:00 left in the game. But that gave the Saints enough time to drive down the field and secure a win on Monday Night.
