Monday night’s game between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Denver Broncos made a bit of NFL history.

It marked the first time a 16-game slate where every game was won by a different number of points.

This was pointed out on social media by various accounts, including NFL analyst Lee Sharpe:

That meant that the 2026 Week 1 slate had already tied the Week 7 slate from last season, which saw 15 different scoring margins, for the most in NFL history.

Then the Chiefs, in the return of Patrick Mahomes, defeated the Broncos by a final score of 31-10, for a 21-point margin.

Meaning all 16 games were won by a different margin of points, for the first time in league history.
