The NBA 2K27 Season 2 Release Date is Friday, October 16th, 2025 at 8AM PT/ 11AM ET.
Like typical NBA 2K seasons, players can expect to see new content in MyCAREER and MyTEAM. Additionally, there will be a brand new season pass, full of 80 free rewards that you can earn over time. Check back with us when Season 2 launches to see all the rewards.
NBA 2K27 Season 2 Patch Notes
The developers recently released Patch 2.0 for NBA 2K27. This update is already available for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S players. PC and Nintendo Switch 2 players will receive the update on October 16th, the day of Season 2's arrival.

Multiple gameplay improvements were made to shooting, defending, passing, catching and steals. Additionally, the update also adds fixes and improvements for dribbling and other general issues.
Several modes received love in this update. MyCAREER, MyNBA, The CITY, MyPLAYER, and MyTEAM all received many fixes. A lot of stadiums and players also received touch up and general likeness improvements to better help the authenticity of the game.
