The Los Angeles Rams pulled off the trade of the offseason by acquiring Myles Garrett. LA's superstar pass rusher is on the sideline recovering from a knee issue. Unfortunately, a new injury update suggests that Garrett could be out longer than originally expected.
Garrett is expected to be sidelined for roughly six weeks as he recovers from knee surgery, per ESPN's Ian Rapoport. The superstar pass rusher did not look like himself in Australia in Week 1. In fact, he did not log a single tackle in that contest.
As a result, Garrett and the Rams to opt for a surgery to correct an issue with his knee.
LA placed Garrett on injured reserve following Week 1, which guarantees he will miss the next four games. That alone would put him on track to return in Week 6 against the Cardinals.
However, if Garrett misses closer to six weeks, then he could also miss a few more games on top of that.
