The Arizona Cardinals are moving forward with veteran Gardner Minshew as the team's new starting quarterback, the team announced Monday.
Minshew will get the nod over Jacoby Brissett starting Sunday at Seattle.
The decision comes after Minshew replaced Brissett late in the third quarter of last week's game against the Dallas Cowboys, helping to spark a come-from-behind 33-30 win in overtime.
Arizona trailed 17-3 at the time of the QB switch, having failed to score a touchdown in its first two trips to the red zone. Minshew went on to score three times inside the 20-yard-line. He finished with 188 yards passing and three touchdowns through the air.
