The Cleveland Browns went up against the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 1, and they probably looked like the worst team in the league when looking at all of the other teams that played. Neither side of the ball looked good, and it all started with Deshaun Watson, who threw a bad interception in the first quarter.

When Mike Tomlin and the NBC broadcast recapped the game and showed Watson's interception, the former head coach quoted JuJu Smith-Schuster when talking about the Browns.

“In the words of my friend JuJu Smith-Schuster, the Browns is the Browns,” Tomlin said.

Unfortunately, a lot of people can understand what that means, because the Brown always seem to end up in these situations. The Browns offense was only able to generate 10 points, and that was never going to be enough to beat a Jaguars team that is loaded.

It didn't seem like Watson was going to hold his head down after the game, and the support around the locker room is what's going to help him.

“[I'm] just [going to] keep moving forward and keep smiling,” Watson said after the game. “I have a lot of support in that locker room after the game. I was told ‘keep your head up, keep pushing forward.' So that's always positive to see.

“Adversity is going to be there. So you've got to embrace it. That's the only way. I thought it was going to be two years ago [with the adversity]. But I guess not. So just embrace it, keep pushing through until you break that wall.”

It's hard to overreact after the first game of the season, but it feels like this has been brewing for the past month with the Browns. Things won't get easier next week when they face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
