The Chicago Bears will be without Caleb Williams once again in Week 5 as they take on the Green Bay Packers on the road. However, the latest injury report reveals that the star quarterback may be nearing a return from injury soon.
Initial reports on Sunday morning revealed that Williams is officially inactive for Sunday's contest, according to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network. Tyson Bagent is set to be the starter against the Packers.
“Bears QB Caleb William is officially inactive but does have a chance to play next week,” Rapoport reported.
Mike Garafolo of the NFL Network also shared extra details about the 24-year-old signal-caller's situation. Garafolo informed NFL fans to get their memes and jokes in about Williams now, as the push to play in the Week 6 matchup vs. the Atlanta Falcons is seemingly real.
