The 39-year-old Michael ‘Venom' Page recently finished his time with the UFC by beating Nursulton Ruziboev at UFC Paris. A few days later, UFC President Dana White confirmed that the promotion would not offer Page a new deal despite winning five of his six fights.

Page aimed to discuss his future with the UFC leadership following his fight in France. However, his contract expiry was met with silence, and he felt the way it was handled was disrespectful.

“I still felt like we’d sit down at the table,” Page told The Ariel Helwani Show. “I wouldn’t have expected it to be dealt with in the way that it was dealt with. I found that quite disrespectful, to be fair.”

Page also voiced his frustration over not being given a post-fight interview following his UFC Paris victory. “What is the harm in allowing me to speak? I’ve seen fights that have been absolutely terrible and they still get to go on the mic and say their piece. This is the second time it’s happened to me,” he added.

“I found out at the same time everybody else found out… If you’re not happy with the performances, have a conversation with me… At least it gives me a goal and something to work towards, and I know exactly where I stand with the partnership,” Page shared. “To hear nothing and have to guess all the time, I think that’s annoying. And even after the fact, to not have a conversation to say, ‘Thank you for your time here, but we’re not going to move forward,’ it would just be nice to hear that beforehand.”

As of now, there are no confirmed updates on Page's future, although he recently received interest from Jake Paul.
