The Los Angeles Rams are witnessing the wrong type of pileup. Instead of piling wins, the injuries are mounting on the Rams, which now includes star defensive tackle Kobie Turner going on injured reserve. Matthew Stafford dropped an eye-opening take on this situation.
The reigning Most Valuable Player, though, dropped a fiery response towards those writing off LA with stars going down.
“Everybody sees these and they’re on their fantasy team or whatever and they’re like, ‘Aww. I’ve got to trade a guy in and out now.’ And we’re like, well that guy’s worked his ass off for the last eight months to get this opportunity,” Stafford told reporters Wednesday.
Another words, Stafford has complete faith in the no-name crew he's working with.
He must roll without star wide receiver Davante Adams, arguably the team's biggest injury setback. Adams became ruled out for the next six to 10 weeks due to a hamstring ailment. And already the Rams needed to play without fellow star wideout Puka Nacua, who sat out the New York Giants and Denver Broncos game.

The era of Les Snead and Sean McVay as general manager and head coach has seen LA masterfully pull off star moves. Josh Downs of the Indianapolis Colts rose as one possibility among analysts who believe LA needs WR help.
But the Rams' Super Bowl hopes are sinking fast with their 2-4 start. Week 7 against the Las Vegas Raiders presents a “must win” feel inside the “Rams House.”
