Cleveland may be getting a boost to its offense and defense for this weekend as the club heads to Nashville to play Tennessee.

Head coach Todd Monken told reporters on Wednesday that he’s optimistic running back Quinshon Judkins will play after he missed last week’s win over the Ravens. Plus, Monken noted defensive tackle Mason Graham appears on track to return for Week 7.

Judkins has been dealing with an ankle injury. Graham has knee and ankle injuries.

“[Graham] was frustrated — he wanted to go,” Monken said. “Obviously, he played for Jesse [Minter] at Michigan. He wanted to go. He loves playing football. He loves getting out on the field and showcasing his ability. And I know he’s frustrated because he had such a great start to the season. I think he’s thankful, and I’m thankful, that it wasn’t worse — that where he’s at now is he’s going to have the ability to come back and continue to play at such a high level and continue to develop as a player.

“I think there’s a pretty good chance we’ll have him this week. I’m hopeful that we’ll see something today and then continue from there.”

Judkins leads the team with 221 yards rushing on 73 carries with a touchdown. He also has 18 catches for 102 yards.

Despite missing the last two games, Graham leads the team with 4.0 sacks. He also has six tackles for loss and five quarterback hits this season.

Cleveland’s full injury report will be released later on Wednesday.
