One of the best bits from Mariska Hargitay's time as the Emmys host involved her hit show, Law & Order: SVU, and also featured Taylor Swift.

She spoke to People at the VIP Opening of the Law & Order “Dun Dun Diner” about having Swift on set to film the Emmys bit. She was “blown away” by the bread and cookies the pop star made.

“Taylor Swift showed up on the set of SVU with a box this big of sourdough chocolate chip cookies, and I was so blown away because she made them, and they might have been the best cookies I’ve ever had, and it was extraordinary,” Hargitay recalled. “So that’s how she opened.”

Speaking about the sketch, Hargitay said they “had such a great time.” Even though Swift hasn't acted as much as Hargitay, the Law & Order star said “it was so cozy and familiar,” praising Swift, her “collaborative” co-star, as “such a pro, and she was such a great sport to do anything and everything.”

In the sketch, Olivia Benson (Hargitay) tried to figure out whether Swift would show up to the Emmys. The “Cruel Summer” singer played a rookie detective who helped solve the mystery.

A couple of months before the Emmys, Hargitay and Swift famously attended Game 4 of the NBA Finals together. They sat courtside with the Haim sisters as the New York Knicks came back from being down as much as 29 points against the San Antonio Spurs.

They went viral for their T-shirts. Swift and Hargitay wore ones that read “Stevie Knicks.” The four of them were some of the team's loudest cheerleaders during the epic comeback.

Hargitay, of course, is a big fan of the Knicks. She has a close bond with Jalen Brunson, who also visited the Law & Order set recently.
