Coach Sean Sweeney's Orlando Magic welcomed Erik Spoelstra's Miami Heat to the Kia Center in Orlando for a preseason game on a day when contracts were roundly discussed. An Anthony Black injury update was passed down before Sweeney and his staff watched star forward Franz Wagner come down with an injury of his own.

Clutch Points' Brett Siegel reported on the situation as Wagner suffered from shoulder soreness.

“More injury news in the NBA, as Orlando says Franz Wagner is dealing with right shoulder soreness and will not return to tonight's preseason matchup against Miami.”

The news came at a bad time for Sweeney's team as Wagner scored 11 points and grabbed six rebounds while dishing out six assists in 19 minutes of action against the Heat.
