At one point in the Los Angeles Chargers' loss to the Arizona Cardinals in Week 1, things weren't looking that bad, as Justin Herbert's fiancée, Madison Beer, celebrated his touchdown pass to Ladd McConkey that cut the deficit to three points.

However, that would be their last touchdown scored that afternoon, as the Chargers ultimately lost to the Cardinals 26-14 in a surprising upset.

The clip of Beer jumping up and down in celebration of the touchdown pass has gone viral on social media, with plenty of fans weighing in on her appearance.

The comments on Jordan Schultz's video on X, formerly Twitter, were brutal. One fan claimed that the pop star was “going to ruin” the star quarterback. Another said, “Oh man, at least she was happy! While losing to the Cardinals at home lol.”

In a separate post, an X user poked fun at the Oregon product, saying, “If I were dating Madison Beer I would simply not lose to the Arizona Cardinals in front of her.”

The Chargers lost to the Cardinals, a team largely projected to be picking at the top of the 2027 NFL Draft. Cardinals quarterback Jacoby Brissett passed for 277 yards and one touchdown.

Rookie running back Jeremiyah Love only rushed for 41 yards in his NFL debut, but he did score a touchdown. Tyler Allgeier was the team's leading rusher, logging 61 yards.

Herbert, meanwhile, threw a touchdown pass but also threw a fourth-quarter interception that sealed the loss for the Chargers. Omarion Hampton rushed for 43 yards and a touchdown, while Herbert logged 29 rushing yards.

The Cardinals will take on the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 2. The Raiders are coming off a win over the Miami Dolphins. Kirk Cousins passed for 160 yards, three touchdowns, and two interceptions in the win.
