LSU could be without senior linebacker Whit Weeks when it hosts Alabama on Saturday, as he was listed as doubtful on the Southeastern Conference's Wednesday availability report.

The 21-year-old has missed the Tigers' last four games after suffering a fractured right fibula during the team's Sept. 26 win over Texas A&M. Weeks underwent surgery following the injury and has been working toward regaining his playing fitness. He had been listed as out on the reports for three consecutive SEC contests, but his latest designation suggests he has made progress toward returning. Still, his availability for the Crimson Tide matchup remains uncertain.

LSU head coach Lane Kiffin had expressed optimism about Weeks' potential return before the team's bye week. The defensive stalwart has recorded 23 tackles and a pass breakup in four appearances this season.

Weeks has been a consistent contributor during his time in Baton Rouge, racking up 170 tackles across his first two seasons. However, injuries have repeatedly interrupted his career, including a lower-leg issue in 2024 and another setback during the 2025 campaign.

Weeks' potential absence would be significant against an Alabama offense that ranks 12th nationally in scoring, averaging 38.3 points per game. The Crimson Tide will enter the contest looking to recover several players who have also dealt with injuries.

Crimson Tide wide receiver Ryan Coleman-Williams, center Racin Delgatty, cornerback Zabien Brown and defensive tackle Terrance Green were listed as questionable. Running back EJ Crowell also carries that designation. The former five-star prospect has averaged 6.8 yards per attempt while scoring four rushing touchdowns this season.

Meanwhile, the Tigers will have tight end Trey'Dez Green available for his second game following a knee injury, though defensive tackle Richard Anderson, wide receiver Phillip Wright, linebacker Charles Ross and safety Dashawn Spears have all been ruled out for Saturday's game. Spears, who tore his ACL versus Ole Miss, is the only starter who will not return this season.

Whit's brother, linebacker Zach Weeks, is also questionable for the Alabama game.

LSU will host the Crimson Tide at Tiger Stadium with kickoff scheduled for 2:30 p.m. ET.
