LSU football is chasing a College Football Playoff berth in Lane Kiffin's first season as head coach, but they are out of margin for error and entering one of the toughest stretches of schedule that any team has to face all season. The Tigers have already dropped two games, against Ole Miss and Kentucky, and likely can't drop another game if they want to make the CFP.
Unfortunately, the injury bug has struck for LSU so far this season. One of the most notable injuries the Tigers have suffered is to star linebacker Whit Weeks, who suffered a leg fracture on Sept. 26 in a win over Texas A&M.
Now, it looks like Weeks might be nearing a return. He might even be able to return to practice next week and is reportedly targeting a Nov. 7 game against Alabama to return, via Matt Zenitz of CBS Sports.
