On Monday evening, the Philadelphia 76ers improved their record on the 2026 season to 7-1 with a fairly comfortable home win over the Chicago Bulls. The 76ers didn't have their most dominant performance in this one, but LeBron James and company still did enough to get the victory.

James went viral at one point in this game when he pretended to drink a fan's wine courtside, but that wasn't the only viral moment that he was involved in on Monday, as he hit a thrusting celebration at one point later in the fourth quarter after scoring an and-one.

76ers guard Tyrese Maxey then hit a celebration of his own after scoring an and-one on the ensuing play, essentially sealing off any chance of a Bulls comeback in this one.

The 76ers now sit at 7-1 on the season, with their one loss having come against the Detroit Pistons last week, and they've already faced some other stiff competition, having knocked off the New York Knicks twice.

James has been up and down at times so far in the early stages of his 76ers tenure, but he is adjusting quickly to his role as a third or fourth option behind Tyrese Maxey, Jaylen Brown, and sometimes Joel Embiid, leveraging his elite basketball IQ, size, and newly rediscovered defensive skills to still make a big impact on the game despite his decline in athleticism and scoring opportunities.

If the 76ers are able to stay remotely healthy throughout this season, it seems that they should be near the top of the Eastern Conference leaderboard throughout the campaign.

The 76ers will next hit the floor on Wednesday as they look to avenge their loss to the Pistons.
