Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens only needed seven seconds to complete a stunning victory against the Dallas Cowboys, 34-31, at Maracanã Stadium in Rio de Janeiro on Sunday.
Jackson made sure not to waste the opportunity after the head-scratching decision by the Cowboys to go for the touchback on the kickoff, which gave the ball to the Ravens at the 35-yard line. He connected on a 27-yard pass to Zay Flowers, which set up the game-winning field goal by Tyler Loop from 56 yards as time expired.
Jackson also made a heads-up play, immediately calling for a timeout after his crucial throw to Flowers. He finished 15-of-20 for 186 yards, two touchdowns, and zero interceptions. He also had six carries for 50 yards.
It was the two-time MVP's first time in Brazil, and he definitely had a memorable experience.
“I've been to Brazil before. For us to have fans here, and people be pulling up to the hotel, going crazy, that was so amazing to me. Shoutout to Brazil again,” said Jackson in the postgame conference.

The 29-year-old star also learned a new phrase from local reporters: “Baile do Lamar!”
He might have to do the samba the next time he scores a touchdown.
It looked like the game was headed to overtime after the Cowboys made a furious comeback, tying the game at 31-31 after Brandon Aubrey's 23-yard field goal with seven seconds left.
The momentum was on Dallas' side. Until Jackson decided to do something about it.
More than 72,000 fans trooped to Maracanã Stadium. It was the third time the NFL played in Brazil. It was the first time in Rio de Janeiro.
