Jesse Minter and Declan Doyle are probably breathing easier now after they notched their first win with the Baltimore Ravens. Minter and Doyle, both of whom arrived in the offseason, steered the Ravens past the Indianapolis Colts, 41-23, in Week 1.

Minter is in his second stint in Baltimore after serving in different roles from 2017 to 2020.

Lamar Jackson touted their new-look offense ahead of their game against the New Orleans Saints on Sunday, sending a subtle warning to the rest of the NFL.

“There's confusion, there's creation, motions. They don't really know how to pinpoint a guy on our offense. This guy might be the strongest suit, I believe, in this play, and it doesn't be that. It's any given guy,” said Jackson.

“I feel like our offense is giving a disadvantage (to the defense).”

Jackson tipped his hat to Doyle, urging him to “keep it going.”

The two-time MVP went 17-of-25 for 324 yards and a touchdown against the Colts. He had seven carries for 40 yards and a score.

Derrick Henry added 24 carries for 144 yards, reaching the end zone three times.

The 29-year-old Jackson is aiming for a resurgent campaign after his painful dud last season, which was compounded by various injuries.

“I've been dialed in since the OTAs. We all have to stay locked in like this. I've got a ton of confidence in these guys that they can do that,” said the three-time All-Pro in a report from the Associated Press.

Jackson logged his 10th 300-yard game, while the Ravens scored over 20 points in a season opener for the 10th consecutive time, which is the longest streak in the NFL.
