Two New York sports coaches with a championship pedigree are Knicks' Mike Brown and former Giants HC Tom Coughlin, and the two let loose while leading a “Who Let the Dogs Out” singalong.

A video has emerged of Brown and Coughlin, likely at the latter's Jay Fund Foundation's annual Champions for Children Gala at Chelsea Piers at Pier 60 on Wednesday, Oct. 7, 2026, and they led a “Who Let the Dogs Out” chant.

Of course, Brown used the chant a lot during the Knicks' championship run. Luckily, fans are still going along with it. Hopefully, Knicks fans are still hearing it come this time next year.

Brown just won his first championship as an NBA head coach. It was also the Knicks' first title in 53 years, making it even more special.

Previously, Brown won four championships as an assistant coach with the San Antonio Spurs and the Golden State Warriors. He was also named NBA Coach of the Year twice while with the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Sacramento Kings. He has also coached the Los Angeles Lakers.

During the 2025-26 season, the Knicks won the NBA Cup against the Spurs. Months later, the teams would meet again in the NBA Finals. The Knicks once again won, beating the Spurs in five games.

Coughlin coached the Giants from 2004 to 2015, winning two Super Bowls with quarterback Eli Manning against the New England Patriots.

Since Coughlin's exit, the Giants have gone through seven head coaches. John Harbaugh, who has won a Super Bowl with the Baltimore Ravens, is the team's current head coach. However, they also went through runs with the likes of Ben McAdoo, Pat Shurmur, Joe Judge, and Brian Daboll.

The Giants are 3-1 in the first month of the season under Harbaugh. They have pulled out wins over the Dallas Cowboys, the Tennessee Titans, and the Arizona Cardinals.
