No. 4 Ohio State will be without veteran offensive lineman Austin Siereveld and running back Ja'Kobi Jackson for its top-five showdown against No. 7 Indiana on Saturday. The Big Ten's first availability report of the week, released Wednesday, listed both players as out.

Siereveld's absence will be his second consecutive game on the sidelines. The experienced lineman has made 26 career starts and earned Second-Team All-Big Ten honors last season. He opened the current campaign at right guard after starting at left tackle in 2025 before moving to right tackle following Phillip Daniels' injury versus Texas in Week 2.

Siereveld also missed last week's win over Maryland because of an illness. With Daniels unavailable for a fourth straight game, Ohio State started Gabe VanSickle at right tackle and Jake Cook at right guard against the Terrapins. Daniels, however, was omitted from this week's report. Head coach Ryan Day expects him to return versus the Hoosiers after practicing this week.

Jackson's unavailability is another big setback for the Buckeyes' running game. The Florida transfer started against Maryland for the second consecutive week, rushing for 76 yards on 14 carries. Through six games, he has accumulated 354 rushing yards and six touchdowns while averaging 6.0 yards per carry.

Ohio State's backfield depth could become a concern because Isaiah West, the team's third-string running back, is listed as questionable. If West cannot play, freshman Legend Bey could move into the primary backup role behind Bo Jackson, who leads the Buckeyes with 460 rushing yards and four touchdowns despite not starting either of the previous two games.

Indiana presents a difficult challenge for the depleted backfield. The Hoosiers rank seventh nationally in rushing defense, allowing 75 yards per game, and fourth in yards allowed per carry at just 2.3.

Elsewhere on the injury report, wide receiver Brock Boyd, running back Anthony Rogers, defensive end Khary Wilder and offensive lineman Deontae Armstrong are questionable. Safety Leroy Roker, wide receiver Amari Valerio-Hudson, safety Khmari Bing and offensive lineman Jaxon Powell are also listed as out.

Meanwhile, wide receivers Brandon Inniss and Devin McCuin, linebacker Christian Alliegro and nickel back Jay Timmons were not included on the report, putting them in line for potential returns versus Indiana.
