PHOENIX– The Kevin Durant, Mat Ishbia, Dillon Brooks saga was an interesting one and makes Saturday's game between the Phoenix Suns and Houston Rockets all the more interesting. Jordan Ott feels this is just another game.

When asked about it pregame, he let out a comical four-word response.

“Don't use social media,” Ott said jokingly.

“You're in the heart of the season. You're super focused on the game. Every single day. There's a new challenge out there, and every single day we're trying to get better.

“This is early-season stuff where we got to settle into a routine, settle into a process, fine-tune our process, adjust some things that we haven't found success with. Just stay in it day to day.”

Jordan Ott shared a laugh when I asked him how he's not letting himself or his team be distracted after the Kevin Durant, Mat Ishbia, and Dillon Brooks social media incident last week.

During this social media frenzy, it was quite the circus. It began with Ishbia making comments about Durant's tenure with the Suns. Originally, it arose the topic of the underwhelming Phoenix teams he was a part of.

Following that, Durant responded to Ishbia, saying that he brought the culture that the Suns now have. Lastly, Brooks chimed in, thanking Ishbia for getting rid of Durant.

Although Ott isn't on social media, having the majority team owner participate in this back and forth is noteworthy. Granted, the latter isn't afraid to speak his mind but this could add more rocket fuel to Houston, and Durant specifically.

He thrives off trash talk, and expect there to be plenty of it once the game tips off. If Ishbia is there, there might be some more chatter between those three.

Even if the Suns head coach doesn't think it'll be a distraction, that distraction could be present, whether he likes it or not.

Safe to say that Saturday's game will be a treat.
