Joe Burrow keeps his focus on the most important objective after the Cincinnati Bengals pulled out a 31-24 road win over the Miami Dolphins on Sunday afternoon.

Burrow has been playing in the NFL since 2020, going through his seventh season with the Bengals. He looks to help them end their playoff drought of three consecutive season, seeing injuries get in the way of their success.

Cincinnati is off to a decent start this season, going 3-2 in their first five games. They earned their latest victory over Miami this weekend, asserting their presence as a playoff contender. Despite this, Burrow pointed out key areas the team must fix if they wish to elevate themselves back into serious contention.

“We got to be smarter. Two fumbles in the red zone. A couple personal fouls that hurt us, hurt our field position, gave them points on the board. Yeah, we got to be smarter…. We had some dumb mistakes, and we got to get those fixed if we want to be a great team,” Burrow said after the game, per reporter Mike Petraglia.
