The New York Jets appear determined to keep Garrett Wilson despite growing speculation surrounding his future. While the star wide receiver has expressed frustration with the offense, he has also made it clear that he wants to remain in New York.

The Jets reportedly have no intention of moving Wilson before the November 10 NFL trade deadline. ESPN's Adam Schefter highlighted the team's firm stance, with a source describing the possibility of a deal as “no way.”

The update comes after Wilson's visible frustration during Sunday's 28-25 loss to the Miami Dolphins. Cameras captured the receiver in a heated sideline exchange with quarterback Geno Smith.

Wilson finished that contest with just two receptions for 26 yards on three targets. His limited involvement raised questions about his role in New York's struggling offense.

However, Wilson subsequently clarified that his frustration came from wanting to win rather than any personal disagreement with Smith. The 26-year-old also dismissed the possibility of requesting a trade, emphasizing his commitment to the organization despite its disappointing start.

Through seven games, Wilson leads the Jets with 37 receptions for 444 yards and three touchdowns. He remains one of the team's most important offensive weapons.

His contract also makes a potential departure complicated. Wilson signed a four-year, $130 million extension in July 2025, keeping him under contract through 2030.

Meanwhile, offensive coordinator Frank Reich has addressed the tension surrounding Wilson's frustration, viewing the receiver's competitive emotions as understandable. For now, the Jets appear focused on improving their offense rather than trading their top receiver. With the deadline approaching, New York's reported position leaves little room for a blockbuster Wilson deal.
