The Arizona Cardinals versus Seattle Seahawks week two showdown will draw a Notre Dame football following. Jeremiyah Love flashed his potential against the Los Angeles Chargers already. But he knows all about the other Fighting Irish weapon: Former ND teammate Jadarian Price.

Notre Dame produced two first round selections in both running backs this past April. Love and Price delivered enough highlights to help comprise the first round class this past April. Love this time will root against his former teammate as they're now NFC West rivals. He's even dropped intel to his defense on how to slow down Seattle's new weapon.

“You gotta get him early before he starts rolling,” Love said during his Thursday presser, adding how Price doesn't have many weaknesses on the field.

“It's hard to stop him,” Love added. “Like, he's real fast. You can't really get him in pass pro [protection]. So you got to get him early before he starts rolling.”

Love delivered the more heralded career in South Bend, rising as a 2025 Heisman Trophy finalist. He eventually lost to an in-state challenger in Indiana quarterback Fernando Mendoza, who later led the Hoosiers to the national title.

But Arizona is fresh off handing Mike LaFleur his first victory as a head coach, beating the favored Chargers 26-14 in Inglewood. Now they'll shoot for a 2-0 start by upsetting the defending champs, with Fighting Irish fans likely glued too.
