Jeremiah Smith was not happy with the lack of attention during a stretch of the No. 12 Ohio State Buckeyes' 41-28 loss to the No. 23 Oregon Ducks on Saturday evening.
Smith is going through the junior campaign of his collegiate career with the Buckeyes. He shines as one of the best wide receivers in the country, making a solid case for the Heisman Trophy. Ohio State also looks to be in CFP contention, seeking a return to the national championship throne.
However, they seemed to have met their match with Oregon this weekend. The Ducks did an excellent job limiting Smith's production for most of the game.
Smith only four receptions for 46 yards through three quarters. He also hasn't gotten a target since the first quarter going into the third. Finally getting a catch near the end of the period, Smith expressed his verbal frustration on the field.
