Bengals WR Ja’Marr Chase is in the blue medical tent after a scary tackle against the Jaguars
Ja’Marr Chase is down after a scary tackle in the second quarter Sunday against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Chase caught a pass in the left flat from quarterback Joe Burrow, and as he was trying to pick up yardage upfield, his facemask was grabbed by a defender. As the Cincinnati wide receiver was twisted to the turf, he was then hit in the upper body by a second defender, staying down on the turf after the awkward sequence.

Here is another angle of the tackle:
Chase was able to walk off the field without any assistance from trainers, but was taken directly to the blue medical tent.
The play was flagged for the face mask penalty. Chase remained in the blue medical tent as Cincinnati continued the offensive possession, which ended with a field goal.
Ahead of the ensuing kickoff, Chase was spotted going to the locker room for further evaluation.
This is a developing story and will be updated.
