The Chicago Bears were the talk of the NFL after a Week 3 upset win over Philadelphia as Case Keenum starred. Second-string QB Tyson Bagent shared an eye-popping take on Keenum's success that caused fans to wonder what Week 4 would hold.
NFL Network and ESPN insider Ian Rapoport addressed the situation during which he revealed that Bagent is the expected starter versus the New York Jets.
“Ben Johnson mentioned Caleb Williams is gonna be out this week…We have Tyson Bagent coming back from a concussion. My understanding is that Tyson Bagent took most of the first-team reps at practice this week. While Ben Johnson has not yet named a starter, the expectation is that the backup quarterback Tyson Bagent is the starter on Sunday.”

The Bears' injury situation included D'Andre Swift, who got an update of note for fantasy owners. The Bears' passing attack was strong with Keenum at the controls last week, in large part because of the depth of Johnson's wide receiver and tight end rooms.
Whoever starts for the Bears will likely have a smart game plan and plenty of talented teammates to work with, as Keenum showed against the Eagles. Bagent is no stranger to Herculean backup QB efforts as a longtime member of the Bears, now it's up to him to pick up where Keenum left off.
