The Cleveland Browns took a tough loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 8, and it's safe to say that the divisional rivals got their payback from Week 4. It's obvious that these two teams aren't very fond of each other, and it starts with the trash talk that goes on. For the Browns, they started days leading up to the game, but it didn't turn out the best for them as they ended up losing.

For head coach Todd Monken, he wants his group to let their play do the talking more than anything else.

“That was the message all week. It'll continue to be the message each week. And that is speak with your play. I'll leave it at that,” Monken said via Browns reporter Mary Kay Cabot.

Jared Verse was one of the players who had some words for the Steelers, and it actually started after their first time playing them in Week 4, when he called them dirty and didn't respect them. After this game, Verse stood by his comments and said he still feels the exact same way.

“I stand by everything I said, and as a man, you have the nature to do that. I think we could have definitely done more than just present ourselves as a team that we are,” Verse said via Cleveland.com's Dan Labbe. “We didn't do enough across the board from the first quarter to the last quarter.”

Verse trash-talking definitely wasn't the reason that they lost, as both sides of the ball just didn't seem prepared for the matchup. On offense, Deshaun Watson was under pressure all day, and he was sacked eight times. They had 319 total yards of offense, but they couldn't find a way to get into the end zone and score.

On defense, they couldn't stop Jaylen Warre, who finished with 143 rushing yards and a touchdown. In fact, the Steelers' three touchdowns came from running the ball.
