Caitlin Clark was full of confidence after announcing for the College GameDay picks. By the end of Saturday, however, Clark fell well short of that mark.

The three-time WNBA All-Star served as ESPN's celebrity guest picker in Iowa City as her alma mater, the Iowa Hawkeyes, hosted the Ohio State Buckeyes. She picked Iowa to pull off the upset and made it clear that she believed the Hawkeyes had a chance to win at Kinnick Stadium.

“I promise you I just went 10-0 on my picks,” Clark previously tweeted.

Her full slate featured Iowa State over West Virginia, UMass over Eastern Michigan, BYU over TCU, Arizona over Cincinnati, Miami over Clemson, USC over Washington, Michigan over Minnesota, Mississippi State over Alabama, Florida over Missouri, and Iowa over Ohio State.

Clark's picks started well, with Iowa State defeating West Virginia. BYU, Arizona, Miami, and USC also came through for her.

However, the losses began to pile up. UMass fell to Eastern Michigan, while Michigan lost to Minnesota. Mississippi State also failed to deliver against Alabama, and Florida lost to Missouri.

The Fever guard's biggest pick of the day was also her final loss. She backed Iowa to defeat Ohio State, telling the College GameDay crowd that the stadium would be loud enough to rattle Ohio State quarterback Julian Sayin. The Buckeyes ultimately handed the Hawkeyes a loss.

That left Clark with a 5-5 record on her 10 selections, meaning she finished with a .500 mark rather than the perfect 10-0 record she had promised.

Clark became the fourth women's basketball star to serve as a College GameDay celebrity picker, following Sabrina Ionescu, Dawn Staley and Candace Parker. She received the opportunity after the Fever were eliminated from the WNBA playoffs by the Las Vegas Aces in the first round.
