The Milwaukee Brewers are set to play the Tampa Bay Rays in the 2026 World Series. The city of Milwaukee is buzzing as fans prepare for the Fall Classic. Expected National League Cy Young winner Jacob Misiorowski has played a crucial role in Milwaukee's success. On Wednesday, the star pitcher joined the Pat McAfee Show to share his thoughts about pitching in the World Series for the first time.

“I mean, it's been awesome,” Misiorowski said. “These guys have been nothing but the best… There's not many words I can put together to talk about our season we've been having. It's been awesome. It's been a dream come true.”

Misiorowski is establishing himself as one of the best pitchers in the entire sport. He will be one of the biggest draws from a player standpoint in the Fall Classic. Even non-baseball fans will want to tune in to see the pitcher who throws 104 MPH as a starter.

His regular season success has mostly carried into the postseason. Misiorowski led the league during the season with 252 strikeouts and a 1.80 ERA. Through two playoff outings, he's turned in a 3.24 ERA and 11 strikeouts.

If he can give Milwaukee just a few more stellar performances on the mound, this Brewers ball club may very well end up celebrating a championship following the series. Misiorowski's impact on the mound is undeniable. However, the Rays find ways to cause havoc at the plate.

Jacob Misiorowski will start Game 1 of the World Series on Friday night. First pitch is scheduled for 8 PM ET in Milwaukee.
