The Miami Heat have real goals of making a championship run this season, and it all started when Giannis Antetokounmpo was traded to the team during the offseason. Antetokounmpo is one of the best players in the league today, and he's shown throughout his career that he can make a team one of the best in the league.
The reason he's gotten to where he is today is the hard work he's put in, and he wants the younger generation to know that. As he was speaking to a group of kids, he let them know that he wasn't the best player coming into the league, but his hard work led him to being one of the best. In the statement, he also let them know that he has bigger goals for himself.
“I wasn't a top player. I wasn't a top pick. I wasn't Rookie of the Year,” Antetokounmpo said. “But I'll tell you one thing, I'm top 20 of all time… I'm gonna get top 10. What I'm trying to say is it's about the journey. How can you get better every single day? The way you sleep, the way you walk, the way you breathe… how can you get better in every aspect?”

That's a big goal for Antetokounmpo, but there's no surprise that he believes he's going to be a top-10 player before he retires. It might take some more championships and other accomplishments, but it's not far-fetched to think he can do that. Especially with a team like the Heat, who are all about winning at the highest level, they could help Antetokounmpo achieve that.
All eyes will be on Antetokounmpo this season to see how he fares with his new team, and if he still can reach the level he was at when he was with the Milwaukee Bucks.
