The Baltimore Ravens will be facing the Atlanta Falcons in Week 5, and they made an addition on the offensive line before the matchup. They acquired Cam Jurgens from the Philadelphia Eagles in hopes of improving the trenches, and that's good news for a team that loves to run the ball.

That means Derrick Henry could get even more open holes while he's on the field, and he's already spoken highly of the addition and how the locker room feels about it.

“Derrick Henry said everybody in locker room was excited about Cam Jurgens addition. He said it shows ‘upstairs (front office) is locked in just as much as players are locked in,'” Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic wrote on X, formerly Twitter.

The front office must've known that they needed to make a move on the line immediately, and it's only going to make them better as season progresses. Head coach Jesse Minter also spoke highly of the front office for making the trade.

“I commend the front office for acquiring Cam Jurgens from the Eagles. Really excited about that. It's going to make our team better. Obviously, it's a position where we've had a rash of injuries, so I'm excited about adding him. He's obviously a very high-caliber player. Been in the Pro Bowl the last couple years. Excited to be here, excited to join our team, and so we look forward to that,” Minter said.

Jurgens won't be available for the Ravens in Week 5, and the hope is that he can be ready the following week. The Ravens are already dealing with injuries, more specifically to Lamar Jackson, whose status against the Falcons is in doubt because of an ankle issue.

If Jackson can't go, Tyler Huntley will be next in line to take over as the starting quarterback.
