The Cleveland Guardians are making a push for October baseball. They are looking to chase down the Chicago White Sox in the AL Central. But they can fall back on the Wild Card race if Chicago is able to pull away. On Friday, Jose Ramirez aided in the chase with a big home run.

Facing a 0-1 count with two out in the sixth inning, Ramirez swatted a monster home run to right field. This solo shot extended Cleveland's lead over the Athletics to two. It also counted as the slugger's 1000th career RBI.
