New York Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart suffered a brutal knee injury during the team's Week 2 matchup on Monday Night Football. Reports suggest that the injury is worse than initially feared, and the QB's sophomore season could be shut down.

Dart isn't the only player on the Giants who has dealt with gruesome knee injuries. Just last season, Dart's top target, Malik Nabers, tore his ACL in Week 4. The injury came after what was one of the best rookie seasons by a pass catcher ever. Furthermore, Odell Beckham Jr. has dealt with numerous injuries throughout his career.

Beckham missed all of 2022 with an ACL injury of his own. The highlight-ready receiver was out of the league last year, too, before he returned for a second stint with the Giants this year. The extent of Dart's injury is still unclear, but if anybody knows how to coach him through it, it will be his two pass catching teammates. In fact, Beckham took to X to share his thoughts on Dart's injury.

“Prayers up for my brother 6,” Beckham tweeted. “Seeing the news is one thing, but it's harder until u actually see it.”

Dart came into the year knowing he'd have to change the way he played. The quarterback was reckless as a rookie and suffered numerous injuries because of it. However, this knee injury wasn't his fault. The Giants are a young team with tons of potential that just hasn't been able to buck the injury bug. Hopefully, their quarterback will return stronger than ever.
